Business Development Executive (Packaging)
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new B2B sales opportunities to meet and exceed monthly targets.
- Conduct sales meetings (physical/virtual) with at least 15 prospects per month.
- Close 3–5 new clients each month, contributing to company revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and repeat business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and quotations tailored to client needs.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure profitable and win-win outcomes.
- Understand customer decision-making processes and develop strategies that influence buying behavior.
- Monitor and report on sales performance via pipeline updates (weekly submission required).
- Coordinate order processing, documentation, and administrative support related to sales activities.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in packaging, printing, or FMCG sectors
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to interpret technical packaging specs (e.g., GSM, die-lines)
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging materials (e.g., corrugated board, kraft/test liners)
- Familiarity with packaging testing standards (e.g., drop test, moisture resistance)
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
Bonus Points For:
- Established network in manufacturing or FMCG industries
- Knowledge of diecut, offset, flexo printing or basic packaging production processes
- Possession of own transport for client visits
