We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Drafter to join our team. This role involves creating accurate packaging designs, technical drawings, and specifications to support product development and manufacturing. Packaging Structural Drafter – Bringing Innovative Packaging Designs to Life

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design packaging solutions that protect and preserve products during transportation, storage and handling.
• Conducting feasibility studies to determine the suitability of packaging solutions for specific products.
• Analysing data and researching to improve the packaging process and implementing relevant solutions.
• Developing and executing standard operating procedures and guidelines for product packaging in the company.
• Responsible for project development record-keeping, file naming/part numbering, and utilizing the project management system.
• Communicate development progress to the project manager and customers as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in packaging design or a related field.
• Knowledge of packaging design types and materials is an advantage.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools is a plus.
• Competent at communicating ideas quickly with rough sketches (either hand-drawn or computer-generated) and able to reshape ideas as each product line develops.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be a highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven self-starter with a strong sense of priority and follow-through.
